Seeds Daylilies are hybrids so any seeds produced will not be like the parent. Other than letting the plant increase itself the only other way to "get" the same plant is if it produces a proliferation. |
Daylily roots are fibrous with some fine and others very thick. The thick roots are used primarily for water storage. Where the roots meet the plant is known as the crown. When daylilies are shipped they are shipped "bare root" as in the above picture. |
